Below you will find several pictures of the first basket case Tamiya Wild One I purchased off

In all honesty, I think I did pretty well with this first one. Although it's in pretty rough shape, almost everything is with it, and I can either rebuild the parts or use what's not usable as templates for new parts I'll make myself. All total, I won the eBay auction for $61.00, and the shipping cost me $19.95 for a grand total of $80.95 invested.. I also received a Kyosho RC Car carry bug to boot! My wife about had a heart-attack, but I was ready to spend as much as $150.00 for the car if needed. Tamiya Wild One RC Buggies in mint or near mint shape can sell for as much as $800+ depending on the day and the people hunting for them. I recently seen one eBay auction for an in the box unassembled Wild One with a final selling price of over $1400.00! |
